What makes Kate famous is not her bloodline, but her incredible and almost meteoric rise to
stardom, all on the back of just one, but significant role in the film, Almost Famous,
which garnered critical acclaim for everyone involved, including the talented Kate. Yet it doesn't
hurt to have wonderful influences during her upbringing. Her mother is legendary perky actress
Goldie Hawn, who she obviously got her charming
and giddy demeanour from. She was raised by her stepfather, acclaimed actor Kurt Russell,
and there are some traces of his serious, but cool disposition in her as well. Even so, talent comes
from within; you either have it, or you don't. Kate definitely has it.
